What you need to know:
-
Each week we will harvest 7-9 of the best crops available in the fields. We’ll include a diverse selection including salad greens and cooking greens, roots, brassicas, alliums, herbs and seasonal fruiting vegetables (tomatoes! cucumbers!). Small shares just have 5 items.
Items are packed into bags and/or put on display with signage for you to select your own.
Our vegetables are typically portioned to the needs of 2-3 people in full shares (ie. 1lb. bunch of carrots, 1 pint of snap peas, 1/2 lb. bag of salad mix), so if you are looking for quantities to feed a larger family, or you eat a lot of veggies, you might consider purchasing 2 shares.
In peak season, when crops are abundant, we love to share the bounty! There will be options to take excess veggies, second quality veggies, trade veggies you don’t prefer for others, or simply receive more than the a lot weekly value of the share. Be sure to read the signage on display so you don’t miss these perks!
